So, I consider myself a technophile. You may say I embrace technology. And from the plethora of TVs, iPhone, iPods, and Game Systems around my house - it's pretty obvious how much I like investing in the latest and greatest when it comes to electronics. Plus, I'm a marketer. It's my job to to stay current on all ways to communicate.

| Stalking his prey. This is not me. |
When it comes to technology, I've spent my time thinking websites, content organization, and usability, while I should have been paying attention to friending, communities, and why people care what I tweeted.
I stubbornly kept thinking social media was for people with too much time on their hands, but like the great seer that predicted TV was a fad, I was an idiot (and maybe still am).
Action is Step Two
After enough time of ignoring the issue, and pretending it would go away (a great strategy for many things), it was time to make something happen.
But what should I do?
Finally, I decided trial by fire may be my best defense. Just dive in, start socializing and make it happen. This blog will act as my diary to get the crazy things about marketing floating around in my head out on the interweb for all to see (lucky you). Hopefully you'll get some interesting perspective from a person that is always trying to find a better way to communicate.
So....here's to hash tags and checking in. Here's to the interweb and sharing experiences. Here's to hoping this idea isn't an epic fail.
